This module focuses on the dietetics of diseases in the context of nutritional sciences that have clinical relevance. The list of diseases is by no means exhaustive, but rather a focus on the main diseases. The focus of the module is the dietetics of diseases.
- Teaching and learning outcomes
- Nutritional value calculation for case management of intolerances and allergies, gastroenterology and geriatrics
- A complete processing of a case-study using "Nutritional Care Process".
- Exercises in nutritional assessment and status, espeically with questionannaires, anthropometry as well as nutritional value estimations
- Overall workload
The total workload for the module is 150 hours (see also "ECTS credit points and grading").

- Recommended prior knowledge
Good knowledge and understanding of nutrition and disease I with dietetics I, food safety of animal and plant products or food microbiology with laboratory techniques, energy processing and balances in nutritional sciences, biostatistics and bioinformatics.

The students know the basic principles of working within Nutritional Care Process.

The students can adjust G-NCP for the index diseases of the module.
